ANDREA FRISANO
Andrea Frisano started his dance education at Teatro Nuovo Torino and at the age of 16 he started to collaborate with Torino Spettacoli. After graduating he began working as a dancer in operas at Teatro Regio in Turin and he later moved to New York, where he attended the Alvin Ailey School and specialized in Horton technique. Shortly after, he began to collaborate with various American companies, such as Albano Ballet Connecticut and Fjk Dance New York.
In 2016 he started collaborating with the Ariston Proballet Company, with whom he had international and national tours, and he also started teaching Horton technique as a freelance. In 2019 he became a member of the dance company of Theater Hof, Germany. Andrea is now a freelance dancer and ballet and Horton technique teacher.
ABOUT
Andrea Frisano, born in Venaria Reale (Turin, Italy), began dancing at Teatro Nuovo Torino at age 14. He collaborated with TorinoSpettacoli during his studies in various productions (Al Cavallino Bianco, Il Signor Bruschino, etc) with different coreographers (Robert North, Antonio Della Monica, Ecaterina Savina, Niurka dee Saa). After the diploma he was hired to dance in big Operas at the prestigious Teatro Regio of Turin, where he worked with national and International choreographers. Some of the operas were: -ONEGIN directed by KASPER HOLTEN, DIRECTOR OF ROYAL OPERA HOUSE of LONDON -DON CARLOS directed by HUGO DEANA -ELISIR D’AMORE directed by FABIO SPARVOLI -AIDA directed by WILLIAM FRIEDKIN, oscar award winner for the EXORCITS and one of Hollywood’s most appreciated directors. He later moved to New York to specialize in the Horton technique at ALVIN AILEY SCHOOL and after his Scholarschip he graduated as a TEACHER of HORTON technique. He later began to collaborate with various American companies (FJK company, Albano Ballet Conetticut and various New york dance projects) which took him on tour in numerous cities. In 2016 he returned to Italy and started working with Ariston Proballet, company that he went on national and international tours with, in addition to giving workshops around europe. At the same time he started to collaborate with ZTF international german tv as a dancer. In 2019 he moved to Hof, Germany, where he was hired as a member of the ballet company of Theater Hof. In 2022 he moved back to Italy and is currently an international Teacher and collaborator in the showcase buisness with brands such as Ferrari.
